Rihanna is likely to have signed a deal to develop lingerie with TechStyle Fashion Group, the company that owns Fabletics, ShoeDazzle, JustFab, and FabKids.
Neither Rihanna's rep nor a spokesperson for TechStyle Fashion Group would comment on the deal, but sources say it's been in the works (works works works works) for about a year.
And it's pretty plausible, given the company's history. Fabletics has successfully partnered with co-founder Kate Hudson, and Kim Kardashian was one of the founders of ShoeDazzle back in 2009. TechStyle is known for its technology-focused approach to brand-building and fashion; the company is said to be able to predict sales exactly using proprietary data and personalization software.
Rihanna is also no stranger to a great business collaboration. See: Fenty x Puma, which has shown at fashion week four seasons, and the astronomical success of Fenty Beauty, which launched in September with parent company Kendo.
