Hi everyone we back again with another issue on being inspired by creatives/influencers and today we will be featuring the beautiful chisom.
Chisom is an Enviromentalist, fashion,beauty & hair blogger. A youtuber & a Photography Enthusiast based in Lagos,Nigeria.
Lets get to know more about chisom & get inspired.
Q: How do you stay current with what’s new or in style at the moment?
Ans: I am online a lot so I tend to visit fashion websites, blogs. Also shopping is another way I try to keep up with whatever it is that is trending.
Q: Where do you find inspirations for your posts?
Ans: My inspiration comes from my surrounding and how I feel at that moment. Sometimes I get inspired by other peoples post as well.
Q: How do you stay cool while shooting in a super hot weather?
Ans: The most important thing I do is to go very light with my makeup and shoot at intervals because most times the sun serves as really good lighting.
Q: How do you grow your blog when you’re new and can’t spend any money?
Ans: I am still growing especially with my youtube channel but I will say the one thing that works is to be consistent with posts and collaborate with as much people in your field as you can. Also know your target audience.
Q: How long did it take you to grow your following?
Ans: Over a year
Q: What’s the one thing you would do over if you could?
Ans: Shave my hair again BUT I can’t because it took awhile to get to the length I am at right now.
Q: How do you manage your time and stay so organized?
Ans: I try my best to be as strict as possible with myself. I literally plan my day 2 or 3 days ahead and have a to do list which I strike out one by one as I get things done.
Q: What camera do you use?
Ans: I use the canon mark II 5D camera and my phone camera (iphone 6).
Q: What do you use to edit your photos?
Ans: Lightroom, vsco and snapseed are just the best.
Q: How do you reach out to brands?
Ans: I have not funny enough everyone I have worked reached out to me. But I have a couple I’d like to work with so I will sending those emails out soon.
Q: Where there days you felt like giving up?
Ans: I think everyone will experience that. But giving up is not an option which is what I always tell myself. Having a potential, having a talent and not showing it to or sharing it with the world will be a waste.
Q: What’s the first advice you will give someone that wants to start a blog?
Ans: Just do it! But concentrate on something you like and what you are passionate about.
