Q: Can you tell us about your blog, and what inspired you to start it?
Ans: I have a fashion and lifestyle blog where I style outfits and show people how to look nice. While I was at uni, as a law student we were only allowed to wear black and white and I loved fashion and style and I had a wardrobe full of clothes that I couldn’t wear out because I was not that person that goes out a lot. So I thought of having a platform where I can play dress up and hopefully, people can learn a thing or two. That’s how I started my blog.
Q: How do you describe your own personal style?
Ans: My style is versatile because whatever I wear depends on my mood and I’m always open to switching up my looks. So basically when I go shopping I pick anything that looks nice and I love. Versatile because I am naturally attracted to various looks.

Q: What do you spurge on? (spend a lot of money on)
Ans: I love to splurge on Bags and shoes. I mean who doesn’t want an amazing bag and killer heels.

Ans: My fashion rule I live by while putting an outfit together is if I don’t feel comfortable in it, don’t wear it. I used to Ignore this rule and wear an outfit even if I wasn’t ok with it and I end up feeling really conscious and ruin my day.
Q: Where do you find the inspiration for your blog posts?
Ans: I get Inspiration from everywhere. It can be a picture, movie, Instagram, Pinterest and I always have a notepad in my bag in case anything Inspires me while I am out and I quickly write it down.

Ans: The truth is I literally write down places I would love to visit that are aesthetically pleasing and put an outfit together that would be nice for that location. So It is like having a mission you want to accomplish. I get my locations from Google, Instagram or I ask people around.

Q: How did you build followers to your blog and social media channels? for example, was it a slow trickle, taking months/years or did you attract a lot of followers straight away?
Ans: My followers never came straight away, it took years and hard work to get to where I am. Not everyone gets it easy so If you are passionate about something you have to be consistent and later on the followers and readers come.

I got over these by telling myself I was doing a good job and everybody’s time is different. So I stopped comparing myself to others, I unfollowed a lot of accounts that made me uneasy and I wrote down my goals and decided to achieve them. So basically set my eyes on the goal without distractions.
